Take a new view on retirement at The Atrium Lutwyche

Developed by Queensland retirement operator Aura Holdings, The Atrium will deliver 60 one to three-bedroom apartments with million-dollar views.

An inner northside retirement development has found strong appeal with locals who want to stay in the area they know and love.

The Atrium Lutwyche, a boutique-style seven-storey community, also offers stunning city views.

Developed by Queensland retirement operator Aura Holdings, The Atrium will deliver 60 one to three-bedroom apartments with million-dollar views priced from $435,000.

A feature of the village will be the rooftop terrace where residents can get together or invite family to share the breathtaking views and lights of the city.

A group of future residents (as shown in the photo below) toured the construction site, only 4km from the CBD. Buyer Helen Langton, of Mitchelton, said: “I looked at quite a few other retirement apartments but when The Atrium Lutwyche came up, I knew straight away that it is was what I wanted.

“I plan to make good use of the rooftop terrace. I think it will become an extension of my living space.’’

Maureen Oakhill, of Clayfield, was also sold on the view. “I love the openness of my fifth-floor apartment. When you walk in the front door the whole unit is glass out to the balcony and the view is there.

“Three of my children live in this little pocket of Brisbane as do all my friends. I wanted to be where my social life is or I would have been in the car all the time travelling.’’

Even apartments on the second floor enjoy stunning unobstructed city views from the elevated site at 11-15 High St, Lutwyche.

Aura Holdings director Mark Taylor said the development had quickly found favour with northside retirees and downsizers seeking quality retirement living. He said several buyers were still in the workforce but preparing for life beyond the nine to five.

“The Atrium addresses the gap in the market for boutique-style retirement living so close to the city in a small connected community with support if needed to maintain an independent lifestyle,’’ he said.

The pet-friendly apartments offer residents a high standard of community facilities including a cafe, heated indoor pool, yoga and pilates area, wine room with personal storage and library.

Apartments at The Atrium Lutwyche, to be completed in January 2020, range from $435,000 to $720,000. The sales office is open at 2 East St, Lutwyche, (07) 3357 9092.
